Logistic operator (POD Validations)

The Document Specialist is an important function in our Customer Service Representative [CSR] Group.  He or she will validate that our carriers are uploading the correct Proof of Delivery [POD] to our Transportation Manager System [TMS] and that the document is a Valid POD as per our customer’s receiving requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManually Upload PODs to TMS to assist carriers as neededValidate that the PODs uploaded to TMS are signed by receivers and that it is the correct document for that shipmentVerify the PODs are transferring correctly from TMS to SAP.Identify deliveries with Over, Short or Damaged [OSD] notations on the POD and report to CSR teamSummarize issues or exceptions and remark in our TMS systemIn depth understanding of our process for carrier education purposesIn depth understanding of logistics industry’s standards and best practicesAdvise Team Leader of all current issues and exceptions
