It is not open to telecommuting or remote arrangements.Job Summary:Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.Job Description:This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-range developer to join a strong and diverse team that supports Corporate Account Analysis applications. The position requires a seasoned, proficient technical resource having extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of software changes within complex financial applications. Problem-solving and analysis skills are a must along with being a self-starter to support maintenance and new development. Strong communication skills are a necessity in order to collaborate effectively with other developers and business partners in an environment where resources are located globally.Candidates should have the following attributes / skills / experience:Required Skills:
5-7+ years experience as a Oracle Developer
Strong experience with Visual Basic, .NET and Visual Studio
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (AR, Payments and GL)
Experience with Oracle Discoverer
Experience with Oracle Tools (SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher and C)
Experience with RHEL
Experience with Shell Scripting
Experience with Software Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Support
Good Analytical Skills (Problem Solving)
Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
Excellent Organizational Skills (Attention to Detail)
Experience with Excel
Desired Skills:
Experience with any of the following: Account Analysis Receivables, Business Knowledge (Financial Services), AutoSys, Perforce, Nexus, Remedy, VBA – Visual Basic for Applications, FTP, Agile Methodology,
BS in Computer Science,Computer Engineeringor equivalent
