Description:- Relentlessly push to understand customer needs and ensure the customer is considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions while balancing data risk management and security needs- Develop a product strategy for your area of focus based on customer & technology inputs- Lead story writing (JIRA), project execution, and product roll-out strategy- Identify unmet needs and disruption opportunities and guide interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative data products for our data community- Test and iterate in small-scale pilots to validate concepts, refine them to achieve ensure fit for our data community, and scale to support the community- Lead a team through rigorous process of test and learn with focus on identifying and developing a minimum viable product (MVP)- Prioritize, negotiate and remove blockers to orchestrate successful launch and execution of projects- Execute on in flight projects with little oversight and drive successful time sensitive outcomes- Work with Enterprise partners and across teams to execute on the product vision- Establish or participate in Design Thinking, Agile, and LEAN rituals which establish rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of roadmaps- Develop a broad understanding of the data ecosystem and landscape at Capital One to help drive the overall direction of that ecosystemCandidate will bring:- A bias toward action and a proven track record of delivering minimum viable products to market at rapid speed- Excellent communication skills to navigate a large organization, and inspire teams about things that should exist but don't exist yet- Ability to proactively identify impediments on the critical path and remove them- A structured problem-solving approach to help a team work through a wide range of issues- Intellectual curiosity for emerging technologies and engineering challenges- Ability to prioritize across different types of value dimensions- Ability to actively seek out multiple opinions, yet make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes- Ability to keep the crowd warmed up while the team fixes the broken demo- Ability to drive process across multiple lines of businessBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or Military experienceAt least 3 years of experience in digital product management2+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into internal facing digital products2+ years experience working with teams focused on data engineering and technologies2+ years of experience in Agile product managementPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience with streaming data & modern real-time data technologies2+ years of experience working in an environment that primarily builds on AWS infrastructureCall Notes:Team Info:Team is into Data Lineage work, Data Pipelines, AWS Infrastructure Experience, Technical Product R&D, Requirements Gathering, Product Roadmaps, Market Research, Data AnalyticsRole Info:Candidate will be working with Developer extensively, Need Strong Technical Experience, working with external teams.
