The Project Manager provides day-to-day project planning, leadership, oversight, direction, interaction with stakeholders, budgeting, forecasting and all other related project management tasks. This position provides visibility into organizational projects, day-to-day tactical support as well as overall project oversight and supports project owners in measuring and achieving their objectives.General Duties and Responsibilities(This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive)
Direct and manage project development as it relates to Transformation initiatives
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-operating company teams
Develop project plans and associated team structures, and communication documents in collaboration with cross-functional and cross operating company teams
Develop detailed project plans encompassing key tasks, milestones, and critical path activities such as design, development, testing, communications, and deliverables
Assist in developing business cases and driving projects through FedEx Office project approval processes
Monitor and control project budgets
Monitor and report on project KPIs and finanicial results
Communicates in both oral and written forms to a variety of stakeholders and business partners and provides presentations, status reports, and progress updates as needed
Conducts ad hoc analysis and reporting of project data/metrics as needed
Identify the appropriate work structures and processes to accomplish program goals and objectives
Provide progress reporting and prepare presentations for executive communication
Represent Transformation Office on various project workstreams
Effectively use metrics to track progress, identify issues, make decisions and improvements
Plan and engage other business partners as necessary to ensure project deliverables are met
All other duties as needed or required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
5+ years prior project management experience, including managing budgets and forecasting project spend
5+ years experience working on technical or systems related projects
PMP Certification preferred
Advanced Microsoft Project, SharePoint and PowerPoint experience
Prior experience utilizing data to drive business decisions and measure results
