QA Manager Plano, TX Long-term Contract Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in functional and regression testing of software / hardware products
  • Should have experience in automotive (Car) industry like cameras, sensors, power management, car updates, battery usage etc.
  • Contribute to the development of robust, high throughput walkaway automation.
  • Translate user requirements into design specifications for development of high quality, customer focused products.
  • Work directly with the assay development team to translate benchtop SOPs into automated processes.
  • Responsible for design, implementation, testing and support of multi-device integrated systems (liquid handlers, scanners, sequencers, etc.),
  • Work with the Product and Quality teams for vendor selection and qualification; serve as the key technical liaison for device and instrument vendors.
  • Play a key role in product launch activities including but not limited to creation of customer facing documentation, training and customer support.
  • Provide post-launch product support including troubleshooting of customer issues and product stabilization.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including Software Engineering, Assay Development, Microbiology, Reagent Development and Product.
  • Document work per Quality system requirements.
  • Support R&D team as needed.
  • Good communication skills.
