Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the team accountable for the implementation and deployment of the Forecast to Schedule (FTS)/ISCP Inventory Optimization capabilities of the Enterprise First Global template (built through SAP S4 and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) SaaS Cloud concepts). Objectives are to ensure the deployment of the global template supporting the execution of business processes related to Forecast to Schedule (FTS)/ISCP Inventory Optimization to PFNA. This role will adopt and adhere to PEP SAFE agile principles for the PFNA deployment project. Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Processes:
  • Demand Planning (DP) and Demand Sensing (DS)
  • Inventory Optimization (IO)
  • Network Optimization (Net Opt.)
  • Supply Planning Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) / Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Replenishment Planning (RP)
  • Supplier Collaboration (partner with PTP)
  • Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
This role is specifically responsible for the Inventory Optimization function and will report to the Director - FTS Lead

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the PGT - Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Global Process Owner/Leads and Solution Owner/Leads to implement and deploy the Inventory Optimization solution - Accountable
  • Support decision-making for Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Inventory Optimization functionality of the Global Template during deployment - Accountable
  • Collaborate with the Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Global Process Leads and Global SMEs to implement and deploy the Global Inventory Optimization Template - Consult/Execute
  • Actively engage and educate business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities - Consult / Execute
  • Collaborate with all value stream teams to implement and deploy the end-to-end Global IBP / Global ERP solution leveraging PAM methodology - Consult / Execute
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against - Consult / Execute
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies - Consult / Execute
  • Along with the scrum team identify, monitor and implement key agreed-upon improvements - Consult / Execute
  • Adopt and adhere to PAM principles and values
  • Adopt development practices that focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
  • Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
  • Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer-review within value streams

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 12+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP APO or IBP with a focus on Forecast to Schedule/Integrated Supply Chain Planning
  • 5-7+ years Inventory Optimization solution delivery, support and/or business relevant roles
  • 2+ years of SAP IBP and S4 experience preferred. Enterprise on HANA, BW a plus
  • Strong experience in end to end Forecast to Schedule/Integrated Supply Chain Planning design, development, and implementation, including integration across other functional areas, i.e. trade promotion management, financial planning and analysis, order to cash, make to deploy
  • Deep, broad functional and solution knowledge of SAP solution in Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Inventory Optimization
  • Knowledge of all master data objects required to support all Forecast to Schedule/ISCP processes
  • Strong Forecast to Schedule/ISCP experience in a global solution development and delivery
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan, Azure, ALM
