You will help create best-in-class customer experiences in an innovative, collaborative environment.Who we're looking for: Corporate Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Accounting Analyst Supporting IT. Reporting to the IT FP&A Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide accounting (80%) and financial analytical (20%) support to the Technology teams with all aspects of operating expense process, capital investment financial evaluation, and ad-hoc projects. Serves as financial contact by developing an understanding of business objectives and cost structure to provide appropriate accounting and financial guidance to support key business objectives and decisions. A successful candidate may have Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting (financial audit) experience, advanced experience with MS Excel, and experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, Hyperion Planning Smartview, Essbase, and HFM.What you'll be doing Perform month end close activities (prepare/post journal entries and perform variance analysis) to ensure expenses are appropriately recorded. Prepare monthly account reconciliations (Technology capital and prepaid expenses). Provide Technology account related schedules to SEC and Japan reporting groups. Drive the Technology capital asset obsolescence review by partnering with all levels of Technology management. Support the maintenance of the Technology chart of accounts and department/project structure for recording of Technology expenses. Serve as the SME for Technology related accounting discussions. Coordinate and fulfill requests for financial and SOX compliance audits interacting with both internal and external auditors. Prepare and present to the Technology Budget Managers guidance on appropriate accounting and forecasting of expenses. Provide Technology project operating and capital expense planning and forecasting support. Provide financial and analytical support for project cost benefit analyses, business proposals, business cases, and value capture analysis. Utilize enterprise data and financial technology (PeopleSoft, Hyperion Planning, HFM) to build effective and efficient processes. Obtain a deep understanding of the various business/operational processes and objectives to identify improvement/kaizen opportunities; then articulate, coordinate/collaborate, and execute the appropriate activities. Requirements: Four-year college degree from an accredited university. Accounting, financial reporting, and audit experience with progressively increasing responsibility Strong organization skills with the ability to work in deadline driven environment Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and quickly adapt to/drive changes/improvements in processes Ability to effectively partner with the business and communicate (written and verbal) and present to management of various levels Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet work well within team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft ProductsSend me a reminder to complete this applicationRose International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
