- Project Description:Luxoft is pleased to present an opportunity to work as a part of a worldwide supplier of automotive components including in- vehicle cloud-based navigation systems. Headquartered in Japan with offices throughout the world, our Customer consistently delivers top quality products to our customers in the North American market.As a Sr. Product Owner in the Connected & Sharing Solutions Division, you will be responsible for managing the development of innovative logistics software solutions leveraging core navigation and location- based services. The Sr. Product Owner will lead the software development life cycle by managing specifications, roadmaps, and customer change requests, while also serving as an interface to local development teams. The Sr. Product Owner will work from the Client office and will support product management tasks for our local customers.The location for this position is Plano, Texas and applicant considered for this position must reside within a commutable distance to this location.
- Responsibilities:Define strategic vision for logistics solutions leveraging existing navigation and location-based services.Develop into product expert and advocate for software solutions supporting the logistics industry.Establish partnerships with industry leaders in logistics, shipping, and fleet management.Maintain comprehensive product roadmaps and release plans.Provide customer consultation in defining requirements for next generation products.Coordinate with PM and Dev teams to create project plans and schedules.Deliver monthly executive reports that provide summary and status of active projects.Define triage processes for customer reported issues and improvement requests.Create Jira JQL queries, filters, and dashboards to support incident management.Participate in joint test drives with customer to evaluate in-market issues.Study logistics industry and market trends to provide recommendations for future product innovation.Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
- Mandatory Skills Description:5+ years of experience as Product Owner in software development.3+ years of logistics supply chain industry experience.Strong project management skills and process expert.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. Detailed-oriented, delivering high-quality documentation and reports.Self-motivated with the organization skills required to bring structure and focus to meetings. Keen awareness of what makes a positive user-experience.Self-starter who works proactively and requires little guidance.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with navigation systems or location-based services.Familiarity with C.A.S.E. (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric).Technical experience in APIs, SDKs, Data Analytics.Experience working in a cross-cultural environment, including working with overseas teams. PMI, CSPO, CSM Certifications.Fluency with Japanese language.
