We are unable to sponsor as this is a permanent full time roleA prestigious fortune 500 company is on the search for a Senior Vmware (vRA) Automation Engineer. This position is all about automation, design, building frameworks. The emphasis is on automation and to have strong scripting in python and Java script. This engineer needs to have strong experience and skills working with Vmware, vRealize, vRA verison 8.x, cloud templates and developing work flows. They need to have experience with REST API programming. Responsibilities:
- You will automate solutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of your ingenuity and creativity
- You will build frameworks and solutions that streamline the delivery and operational lifecycle of applications and cloud services
- You will contribute to enterprise projects and initiatives related to automation and work across team lines on design, solutioning and implementation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of overall IT Experience with emphasis on IT Automation
- Strong scripting and/or programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Python and/or JavaScript
- Strong VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) experience, preferably with version 8.x
- Experience creating Cloud Templates and developing Workflows and Actions in vRA
- Experience with REST API programming and system integration
- Administration-level experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
