The Software Engineer I will be responsible for writing Enterprise Application code in a team environment which includes research, design, debug, and test for next generation network management software systems while contributing to the existing product line.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, debug, and test server-side software for network management software
- Work closely with firmware design team
- Work closely with the quality assurance group for testing
- Responsible for creating written documentation for his/her own software development
- Develop feature enhancements and provide development support for existing product lines
- Works in both an independent and team member environment to meet multiple product release cycles
- Hands on experience developing applications in C/C
- Proficient in object oriented analysis, design and development techniques
- Working knowledge of RPC, REST API or other programming interfaces
- Knowledge of golang and QT framework a Plus
- Experience working with databases like MySQL
- Knowledge of Angular/JavaScript/HTML5 a Plus
- Knowledge of Version Control practices, especially SVN
- Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally across the organization
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to manage, and schedule time to meet deadlines
- BS degree (BSEE or BSCS strongly preferred, MSCS a plus) or the equivalent in training and experience
- 2+ years of programming experience (C/C, REST)
