Job Title: Sr. QA Analyst-
Retail / POS testing expLocation: Plano, TXDuration: 6-12 months (with potential extension) Interview process /expectation: 2 Rounds of interview. Both Video interviews on Teams. Job Summary: The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst reports to QA Manager as part of the Solution Delivery-IT team, to develop well-defined test cases, lead and perform rigorous manual and automation testing of software functionality, investigate defects, and thoroughly document all results. This role works closely and collaboratively with users from all departments and is involved with all aspects of the corporate systems lifecycle including design, development, and support of the deployed solutions. This role is responsible for the verification and validation of new features, functionalities, and enhancements for Buy Online, Pickup In-Store solution Qualifications & Competencies:- 7 or more years of experience designing and creating Test Case scenarios, testing software and validating data.
- 3 or more years of experience with SQL and stored procedures in various databases (SQL Server, Sybase, DB2)
- Proficient end-to-end understanding and experience with knowledge of system development life cycles.
- Strong understanding and hands on experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/SCRUM Methodology.
- Working ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
- Proficient ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease while maintaining strong customer focus.
- Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
- Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.
- Retail industry experience preferred, especially related to any of the following areas: store operations, warehouse distribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and finance.
- Knowledge of Merchandise and Warehouse management (JDA, PKMS) and .Net application development environments preferred.
- Knowledge of IBM iSeries operating system and applications preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent year-for-year experience preferred.
- Consistently demonstrates a commitment to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience creating and executing automation test scripts using industry standard automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber etc.
- Solid understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to implement automated tests across all levels (Unit, Functional, Integration, and User Acceptance / end-to-end).
