Immediate need for a talented
Sr. QA Automation Engineer with experience in the Banking and Finance Industry. This is an 8 months contract with possible extension opportunity and is located in Plano TX (onsite after Covid). Job ID: 21-16426 Skills: Selenium, Java/Python/Ruby, UI Testing – Protractor/Jasmine/Mocha/, API Testing – SOAPUI/POSTMAN Responsibilities:- Create and Run performance tests (load, stress, endurance tests etc.) using Jmeter and similar automation tools.
- Work with Product Owner and Tech leads on performance data model creation\enhancement
- Analyze performance test results, identify performance metrics and present\generate reports to leadership
- Support performance and monitoring tools setup and use monitoring tools (App Dynamics)
- Create\maintain\modify test data for performance testing
- Responsible for the day to day operations of all in-house developed, open source, and commercial DevOps tooling owned by the team (Ensuring system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events and problems)
- Develop procedures to automate various systems and tasks (e.g. automating code builds and deployments) using Jenkins, Git
- Employ innovative solutions to ease developer and testing experience.
- Perform proof of concepts of new testing tools
- Responsible for troubleshooting tools and services with the Java programming however similar proficiency with Javascript, Go, Python, and/or Ruby is also desired.
