- Responsible for software evaluation of head unit software focused on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi External functions.
- Communicate with mobile device manufacturers on potential device issues.
- Report and track Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi issues as well as communicate improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for Tier 3 support of future connected services product launch.
- Create, execute function and regression test plan based on feature requirement.
- In vehicle and lab testing responsibility: o Feature/services using Bluetooth technology such as, but not limited to, handsfree calling, phone book download audio streaming o Features/services using external Wi-Fi connectivity
- Issue reproduction in vehicle and/or in lab environment.
- Communicate and manage Tier 1 suppliers on head unit software fixes.
- Participate with in vehicle drive test (as necessary) focusing on infotainment system as the device under test.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, sprint refinement and sprint demo.
- Flexibility with off hour work (as required).
- 2 – 5 years of testing experience working with vehicle infotainment system functions such as Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple Carplay, navigation, Voice Assistance and Wi-Fi.
- Mobile app testing experience related to connected vehicle services.
- Fundamental knowledge of vehicle electronics with infotainment systems.
- Ability to diagnostic and isolate software/hardware failures at component level.
- Ability to articulate and dissect complex issues into simple and meaningful format.
- Experience in translating requirements into test artifacts and evaluate for expected behavior.
- Experience with agile and waterfall development cycles.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment including multiple parties such as TMNA team members, business partners and external suppliers
