Tyler Technologi es is looking for a Vice President of Professional Servic es to join our Courts & Justice team . The role of the Vice President assume s responsib i lity for al l aspects of the division ' s services delivery portfolio , to include in-house project management, configuration and process consulting , training, and data conversion practices . The main objective of the position is to ensure the pro fessional ser vices team delivers a market - leadi ng suite of offerings wit h the high est degree of quality while meeting financial and schedule obligations to c lients and the business.
R esponsibilities- Manage s the day-to-day operations of th e professional services organization, providing leadership, comm unication, prioritization, and decision-making activities to optimize intra - and inter-departmental pe rformance
- Full profit & loss responsibility for the professional services organization , to include expense management, services revenue , forecasting, and contractual compliance
- Oversee s projects across North America to ensure servi ces comply with delivery strategy and effect ively mitigate deliver y risk
- Prioritize s and allocate s project resources with the assistance of departmental stakeh olders, peer lead er s, and clients
- Balan c es the continuous delivery of our existing services with the injection of new improvements for the betterment of th e services portfolio
- Estab lishes and mainta ins governance frameworks for use in active en gagements with complex stakeholder con str u ct s
- Maintains healthy execu tive level relationships with key accounts and customer groups
- Partners with sales leadership to effectively propose solutions and provide a warm transition for new customers from the sales phase to the implementation phase
- Recruit s , develop s, a nd retain s individuals wit h skills, attitude , and experience necessary to enable the organization to meet commitments
- Delivers performance feedback, reviews, and development for the department
- Establish es an d maintain s an effective system of c ommunication throughout the organization and ensure s clear communication of strategy to tea ms with clear articulation of their roles and deliverables
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
- BS or MS/MBA degree
- Ten years of professional services delivery experience
- Seven years of management responsi bility
- P roven leadership in services o rganizations of at least 1 0 0 staff members
- Ability to lead projects across multiple geographies and levels of complexi ty
- Government software i ndustry experience desired
- Demonstrated abi lity to develop breakthrough process strategies
- E xtensive experience an d application of the project management body of knowledge or equivalent
- D emonstrated ability to effectively work with other departments and have executive-level client interaction s
- Demonstrated organizatio n and planning ability
- Excellent interpers onal skil ls including verbal and written communication , teamwork , and customer service
