JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical/Functional Skills -

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Windows Operating system 2012,2016,2019, VMware vSphere, Nutanix, Vblock, Hyper-V, CentOS, DataCenter Operations and Vendor Management.Tools: Nutanix Prism, Vmware Virtual Center, vRops, Microsoft SCOM, SCCMVirtualization Technologies: VMware vSphere 5.x, 6.x,7.x, Hyper ConvergedVirtualization on Nutanix – AHV.Scripting: PowerShellExperience: 10 + Years

Roles & Responsibilities: • Engineers, administers and manages settings and configurations for VirtualServer Infrastructure, including Active Directory integration, patch management,application and OS deployment and testing on all related virtualized sessions for theorganization.• Responsible for handling escalated incidents and High Availabilityenvironment incident Management on Windows Platform• Hands on experience in day to day operations, working on system alerts andmanaging the tools• Expertise in managing Windows Operating system, VMware vSphere,Nutanix, Block, Hyper-V, and CentOS,• Expertise in managing system tools SCOM, vRops, Pulse and Splunk .• Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reportsto customer for necessary planned changes• HA engineering for architecture of HA environment with OS / patch Releasemanagement, Application load and maintain configuration of Central OS image servers.• Scripting for monitoring/ automating the Sys admin activity for changescheduled as projects on multiple servers.• Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR tests.• Responsible for Standard Operating procedures issuance to incidentmanagement team.• Responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating procedures.• Identify and drive continual improvement program in Windows environmentand improve the Service efficiency.• Problem Management on Windows platform. Perform Root Cause Analysisusing quality tools.• Change Management: Prepare Implementation, backout and test plan forChange records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes.• Configuration Management: CMDB audits and regular updates of CMDB.• Leads small, virtualization-related projects with manageable risks and resourcerequirements.
