As an IT Hosting intern, you will experience the day-to-day of a successful Hosting team.Responsibilities- Assist Hosting staff with analyzing, documenting and closing support tickets.
- Use Hosting's Dynamics CRM support portal to review requests and route them.
- Use Hosting's Service Desk support portal to create requests for server builds, resource changes, etc. for hosting VMs.
- Prepare and/or modify documentation.
- Respond and resolve alerts in a team environment.
Qualifications- Ability to work effectively with a team of professionals on technical and business issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of Virtual Machines
- Basic knowledge of server hardware (including web servers) and network configurations
- Basic knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, OSI Model)
- Basic knowledge of Windows Active Directory Services
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (e.g. Windows Server 2008/2012, SQL Server 2008/2012)
