The Security Intern will experience the day-to-day of a successful IT Security team. As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.LocationPlano, TexasTravel0-5%Responsibilities - Assist with ongoing p rojects and InfoSec team initiatives
- Assist with a dminist ration or maintenance of security tools and utilities
- Research and recommend options for new or improved technology
- Participate in enterprise -wide security training and events as needed
- Prepare and/or modify system and process documentation
Qualifications - Exposure to information security, risk assessment or information techno logy
- Basic knowledge of server hardware and configurations
- Basic knowledge of n etworking
- Basic knowledge of operating systems
- Basic knowledge of d irectory s ervices
- Basic knowledge of v irtual m achines
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team of professionals on technical and business issues
