We are currently seeking a Technical Architect - Sports Solutions to join our team in PLANO, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).Technical ArchitectNTT is looking for a dynamic architect with experience designing and developing software systems and applications. The individual will work with product owners, subject matter experts, and software engineers to design and deliver creative technology products. The role is expected to lead several software engineers in the delivery of custom cloud native applications. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Related responsibilities include:- Work with client(s), strategists, UI/UX experience leads, and developers to understand business requirements/vision from which we can shape product propositions that drive transformative business outcomes and customer experience
- Build the conceptual, technical and reference architecture for the digital product
- Provides guidance on continuous integration and overall product development activities
- Develops overall technology and API strategy for the product
- As needed, develops and tests code for UI, services and integration tiers of an application component
- Translate product vision into a roadmap containing well-defined, prioritized features that will realize the product vision and value
- Champion and launch products and oversee the full product life cycle from conception to launch
- Prioritize product backlog, evolution and user stories in collaboration with operating companies and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated success creating digital products vision, strategy, experience, and enterprise solutions and services - from ideation to launch, including engineering and operational quality
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and services
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
- Proven track record of working with senior client stakeholder and diverse teams as a servant leader and steward of economic and customer value
- Ability to work in a challenging and dynamic environment with a geographically distributed team
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time and work some non-social hours with the various team member time zones
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Engineering subjects
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an application developer
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an architect
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture concepts and how to implement them
- Has worked with at least one private or public cloud platform such as Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in designing and deploying cloud-native enterprise applications in public or private cloud
- Experience developing digital products and technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
