IT Project Manager Must be local to the Dallas / Fort Worth area The IT Project Manager reports to the IT Director as part of the Information Technology team, and leads the project team made up of Business Analysts, QA Analysts, and BI Analysts to provide gathering and analysis of requirements, development of designs, identification of testing and reporting needs from corporate systems such as JDA, SAP, PKMS, and .Net applications. Assist in setting overall priorities of IT initiatives, including Production Support work, major projects, and minor enhancements.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure team members are following established procedures to meet SOX compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate project tasks through the establishment and adherence to project schedule, scope definition, and estimations of time and effort.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Effectively communicate project expectation to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Draft and submit project budget proposals, and recommend project budget changes, when necessary.
  • Partner with Development Management resources to ensure new applications and application modifications meet business requirements and are accurate and complete.
  • Review Level of Effort estimates and timelines for setting delivery dates on Production Support issue resolution and Enhancement deployments.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations, as needed.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Partner with impacted departments to define project success criteria and communicate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Conduct project post mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Identify and align talent to facilitate the completion of project goals
  • Participate and lead implementation planning to ensure successful deployment of all solutions
  • Promote the use of shared applications to manage project artifacts and improve information flows.
  • Create an environment that welcomes change and creative problem solving, and one that values feedback, coaching, and general talent development.
  • Monitor and summarize progress of projects for management.

Qualifications
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines and an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Must have strong project management/business analyst skills
  • Experience with SAP, Real Estate and Accounting is preferred
  • Experience with Lucernex Software is a plus
  • Working ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
  • Three or more years of Project management experience in a retail industry preferred
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease.
  • Possess desire for continued development and growth.
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/SCRUM Methodology
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.
  • Expert understanding of change management strategy and practice.
  • Ability to manage disagreements through consensus building, relationship management and the formation and presentation of logical, data and fact-based arguments.
  • Bachelor' s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent year-for-year experience required.
