Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform regression phone tests, feature verifications, soft client functional tests, sub-system validation, and automated load tests.
  • Create new test cases based on provided feature descriptions.
  • Update and maintain test plans.
  • Generate and archive test results.
  • Troubleshoot and report problems found. Monitor and collect logs and results.
  • Open and submit issue-related tickets to appropriate parties.
  • Replicate product problems found in the field.
  • Update test device’s firmware or software.
  • Organize and manage test beds.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or Technical School; may substitute equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to minimum experience requirement
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail through repetitive manual test sequences.
  • High level of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Preferences:
  • Knowledge of telephony, VoIP, and SIP signaling highly desired
  • Experience with SIP phones and SBC products
  • Experience with Audiocodes and/or Ribbon SBC equipment
  • Troubleshooting using Wireshark and syslog captures
  • Experience with configuring Ethernet switches or routers
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of telephony, VoIP, and SIP signaling highly desired
  • Experience with SIP phones and SBC products
  • Experience with Audiocodes and/or Ribbon SBC equipment
  • Troubleshooting using Wireshark and syslog captures
  • Experience with configuring Ethernet switches or routers
