Ideal candidate is a thought leader for UX in Software with publications, writing online for Medium, speaking at Conferences. You will report to the Manager of User Experience Research. We are open to hiring remotely ideally at one of our office locations in California or Texas. Will also consider fully remote candidates. Key Requirements -
- Leadership in proposing research with a Software Company at an Enterprise Scale (UX Strategy, Design and Development for software).
- Be able to ANALYZE who work stream and make suggestions across a MIX of METHODS to apply. Should be able to identify what work stream needs to be developed and be able to address with logic and communicate it to various stakeholders and additionally be able to execute on it.
- Understand the business context (not just technical).
- Must be able to talk intelligently about work and goals, talk to the business audience what workstream should be developed and execute on it.
- Be able to step away from the technical and design flow components and see the bigger picture and impact on the business.
- Key interface group will be the hygiene/concepts projects team. Will need to do technical presentations (Power point, Vision, etc.) at a minimum at the director level and show process models demonstrating results and thinking behind it, an address various consideration method to chosen approach (i.e. Timeline relationships etc.)
- Generative side of research - Broad problem finding systematic methods used to approach this type of research.
- Experience with e-photography (people out in the field) and the depth of methods to work on this. Interface with Product Management and Design will be consistent.
- Ability to create models visually and show the thinking behind the models.
