Field Service Representative - Specialty Ops I&E

The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (I&E Tech) is located in Point Comfort, TX. This is a Monday through Friday position with on-call responsibilities nights and weekends, if needed.This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Industrial Electrician, Electrical and Controls Technician, Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (E&I Tech), Electrical Technician, Instruments and Electric Tech, or similar.Analyzes, troubleshoots, implements, improves, and maintains electrical power circuits and equipment.  Maintains and upgrades control and automation systems and instrumentation, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pump stations, water plant operations, and measurement facilities.Key Characteristics:Duties include installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment. Along with completing all appropriate documentation associated with the dutiesPerform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipmentIdentify, report, and correct safety and environmental concernsPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMentor and train employees when the opportunity presents itselfMaintain electrical switchgear and power distributionResponsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all tools and equipment as neededOversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third partiesStay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required training Some travels (less than 10%) might be required for training or coordination purposes with the other I&E teamInterface and communicate with customers and suppliers as requiredComplies with company safety and quality policies and code of conduct
