Its treatment systems and services enable regulatory and environmental compliance, ensure uninterrupted quantity and quality of water, increase efficiency through water reuse, and prepare customers for next-generation demands.The Field Technician MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-SITE AT FormosaKelly Services is searching for a Field Service Technician to support our Heavy Industry Business Unit located in Point Comfort, TX. The Field Service Technician will provide installation, start-ups, investigative tests, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to our water treatment equipment (Reverse Osmosis, CDI, and Deionization water systems) at multiple customer locations throughout the area. This position will provide semi-complex training to customers on products and services, as well as documenting all installations, inspections, maintenance, repair work, etc. The key responsibility for the Field Service Technician is to effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them, including performing repair or referring more complex issues to others.This position will have a typical work schedule of -, with some occasional overtime and after-hour call outs. The on-call rotation consist of having on call responsibilities for your assigned site Monday through Friday and weekend on call for all sites every fourth weekend. Work responsibilities include some weekends and holidays.RequirementsField Service TechniciansThe Field Technician - Water/Wastewater requires the following:TWIC Card RequiredMust be able to work on-site at FormosaHS Diploma or GED equivalent, although an Associate-s Degree or vocational/ technical training is strongly desiredHair Follicle and Background Screens Required DISABasic + or RefresherSuccessful completion of all Safety CouncilAt least 3-5 years directly related experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment (pumps)At least 3-5 years general experience in plumbingAt least 3-5 years general experience in electrical (panels)PLC experience helpful, but not necessaryIndustrial water treatment or water chemistry experience helpful, but not necessaryValid Driver-s License and clean driving recordMust be able to lift 75 lbs.Excellent customer service skillsMust be willing and able to work an after-hours on-call rotation schedule, to include some overtime, weekends, and holidays
