Veolia is looking for a hands-on, dynamic Maintenance Manager to energize and motivate an experienced team of maintenance employees to work safely, improve cycle time, focus on quality, & meet production goals. In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the equipment, machinery, general repairs, site maintenance, installation of new equipment/systems, and preventative maintenance programs are carried out efficiently and properly.Key Characteristics Ability to read and interpret instruction and safety manualsDemonstrated leadership and teamwork skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and awareness
Duties & Responsibilities Acts as a resource in the diagnosis of malfunctioning machinery, installation of new equipment and systems, and general repairsCoordinates and schedules the maintenance operations with other plant operations teams to ensure efficient and safe operationsLeads by example & develops close working relationships with the plant staff, vendors, customers & leadersManages and participates in the selection, interviewing & hiring of new maintenance employeesOversees the plant maintenance staff and directs all maintenance operationsOther duties as assigned
