The organization does not have any permanent GS-10 positions so for this recruitment all current or prior federal applicants may qualify for the GS-11 level if they possess 1 year of specialized experience and time in grade at the GS-9 level. All non-federal applicant experience will be evaluated to determine if it meets the GS-10 experience level requirement." Specialized Experience:GS-09: One year of specialized experience at the GS-08 level which includes both of the following duties: 1)Assisting in the review of design drawings and specifications; AND 2)Assisting with preparation of tools for onsite field inspections. GS-10: One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level which includes both of the following duties: 1) assisting with onsite field inspections of contractor's work; AND 2) preparing non-compliance reports of inspection findings. GS-11: One year of specialized experience at the GS-10 level which includes both of the following duties: 1) Inspecting construction sites for compliance with specifications; AND 2) Preparing construction project plans for contractors. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
