The division advances patient care with diagnostic solutions to improve disease detection and management, and simplify laboratory operations.Summary:The Treasury Analyst reports to Sr. Treasury Director and supports all aspects of Treasury Operations. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for maintaining daily banking transactions, supporting both corporate and donor center operations, following Company policies, procedures and internal controls, and supporting month end close and any other Treasury Department activities as requested.Primary responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day banking and cash responsibilities
Monitor daily deadlines for fraud prevention, Check Pos Pay, ACH Pos Pay, ACH Debits
Ensure group's deliverables are met for daily, weekly and monthly cash reporting
Reconcile daily Cash Flow forecast versus actuals
Monitor working capital and find incremental improvements to improved DSO and DPO
Work closely with internal groups (Accounting, Legal, Sales, Plasma and Manufacturing) on banking issues
Manage account signers, add and remove account signers at donor center level
Contribute in key projects such as Cash Pool, Canadian banking migration, CLIA Lab collections implementation, BBVA vendor payment roll out
Lower bank fees
Monitor BBVA card programs and rebates
GPO Margin improvement and donor debit card improvements
Assist on quarter end working capital projects (factoring and cash optimization)
Perform remote deposits
Load GPO Travel Per Diem cards
Update SOPs and other documentation
Review existing processes and identify areas of inefficiency and implement changes to improve
Support month end closing process, monitoring donor centers cash balances in collaboration with GL accountants, and upload corresponding adjustments in SAP
Assist on audit and SOX testing
Provide supporting schedules for internal/external auditors on Treasury/Company audits
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field is requiredExperience:
1-3 years of experience preferred
Related experience in Corporate Finance experience is preferred
Experience utilizing finance/accounting systems, SAP preferred
Banking/Treasury experience preferred
Strong Excel skills and proficient with PowerPoint and other MS tools
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Takes ownership and is proactive
Ability to apply advanced analytical skills and provide alternative solutions
Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (Sox) is preferred
Continuous enthusiasm and positive approach to problem solving
