Cloud Engineer 3+ months (manager stated there is possibility to be extended to additional 6 months or more) Rate: DOE - W2 only , no C2C Fully remote- Perform Cloud Engineering and ongoing support activities.
- Develop infrastructure as code cloud foundational solutions using scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other automation technologies.
- Automate the provisioning of secure landing zones and virtual compute resources.
- Implement security controls and monitoring requirements in cloud platforms.
- Support workload migration activities to cloud.
- Provide ongoing service support and run-time system administration.
- Consult with internal teams looking to migrate, scale, or enhancement their usage of cloud capabilities.
- 5 or more years working in an IT Domain.
- 3 or more years working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Perl or JavaScript.
- Proficient in infrastructure as code and CI/CD technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormations, and ARM templates
- Proficient in workflow automation and coding against APIs such as REST interfaces.
- Knowledge of basic SQL and networking.
- An understanding of how to work within an Agile environment using Scrum.
- Excited to test new ideas, tools, and tactics.
- Demonstrate disciplined engineering practices, including documenting solutions, transferring knowledge to other team members, and sound quality assurance practices.
