SENIOR DATA IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST

Remote, USA

ICS is hiring a Senior Implementation Analyst who will conduct detailed analysis of data from our Client's partners, to improve several areas within the business, in addition to overall customer experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in methodological design of empirical analysis evaluating quality performance outcomes in episode- based models of care delivery.
  • Contribute to requirements gathering and translation of business needs to create efficient code to execute analytic processes on large scale medical claims databases.
  • Solve technical data-driven healthcare problems using computer science, mathematical, predictive modeling and statistical methods and knowledge.
  • Develop metrics and prototypes that can be used to drive business decisions and perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Contribute to dissemination of analytic results including developing needed tables and graphics
  • Responsible for quality assurance and control and technical documentation for all processes and deliverables

Skills/Experience You'll Need:
  • B.S. or higher in the fields of information science, health informatics, computer science, statistics, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Health Informatics or a related field required
  • Demonstrated experience applying a data science skill set (i.e., data management, data analysis, data visualization) to industry specific problems, prior health care analytics experience is a plus
  • Experience working with database languages such as SQL or MySQL
  • Experience using a programming language such as Python or a statistical programming language (SAS, SPSS, Stata or R) is desired;
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Innovative and strong analytical and algorithmic problem solving. Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly verbally and in written form, particularly the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with commercial and Medicare medical claims data and with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView) is a plus
