- Design and develop efficient solutions for ISIM customization, enhancement, and bug fix request, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and modify ISIM as needed.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a software developer.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Java development and support.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in ISIM development and support
- Working knowledge of designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Working knowledge troubleshooting and resolving issues for Java-based applications.
- Insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.)
- Understanding of ISIM is required including an understanding of policies, workflows, reconciliation, recertification, and reports.
- Understanding of all components in the IBM Tivoli / IBM Security IDM suite-WebSphere Application Server, Message Queues, DB2, Tivoli Directory Integrator, Tivoli Directory Server, Adapter development tool
- Hands-on experience of deploying identity solutions using IBM Tivoli / IBM Security Identity Manager
- Custom code development in Java / JavaScript for augmenting out of the box features
- Creating custom adapters and interfaces, utilizing APIs from IBM Tivoli / IBM Security
- Very good with concepts of databases, directory servers, Linux/Unix and computer networks
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SOAP or Restful Web Services.
- Hands-on experience using XML, HTML and JDBC.
- Hands-on experience using current IDEs such as JDeveloper, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, JPA, CSS, GIT, Maven, or Agile.
- Experience working with and integrating with Oracle WebCenter.
- Experience in developing workflow applications.
- Experience working/integrating with J.D. Edwards enterprise software.
- Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere or Oracle WebLogic middleware.
- Experience working with Relational Databases (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL), SQL, and ORM technologies.
