Job Description - Senior Technical Business Analyst - Remote
SENIOR TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST Remote - USA ICS is hiring a Senior Business Analyst with a data focused mindset, for our growing healthcare technology Client! You'll join a team of report developers and analytics-oriented people who are passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and improve technology that serves the health community. What You'll Do:- Develop a deep understanding of internal business processes, services and products that the company offers.
- Translate customer needs into technical and functional requirements documentation that drive action and provide sound direction to the developers, testers, UX design team and technical writers.
- Be able to communicate and prioritize documentation needs to Technical Writers to ensure there's alignment between what's presented in the dashboard and the corresponding documentation (in partnership with the product owner).
- Communicate effectively with the UX design team the desired product features and capabilities via effective requirements documentation and outlining (in partnership with the product owner).
- Build a strong partnership with other departments to ensure there is effective collaboration and communication between the reporting team and other analytic areas.
- Work closely with the Data Warehousing and the Metrics team to communicate in a proactive manner data and new metric needs that will be needed for new report/dashboard development and to ensure readiness for Ad-hoc reporting.

- Mentorship and Presenting Technical Information
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of product management, business analysis, data analysis, data science or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present business cases.
- Excellent team-player with the ability to consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others; ability to build partnerships and foster collaboration.
- Experience in the Agile software development framework required.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable thinking about data and systems.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Utilize data science techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets.
- Preferred experience (one or more):
- Database querying and data analysis
- Scripting in Python or similar language
- Requirements gathering and writing in an analytics environment
- Experience with various types of healthcare data: claims, value based, quality, provider relationships or fee for service reimbursements.
