Position Summary:

The role is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role for a dynamic network virtualization technologist with a desire for delivering virtualized network capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and input on BofA Cloud development
  • Advanced troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and architectural design.
  • Management of overall health of the internal cloud/automated services running within BofA Cloud environments.
  • Act as the lead point of contact to ensure continuity and customer satisfaction and availability of BofA Cloud services running within the Bank.
  • Partner directly with Engineering, CTOs/LOBs, and vendor community

Required Skills:
  • Knowledge in Software Defined Storage (VSAN)
  • Expert knowledge of VMWare supporting software products - (vUM, vRA, vRO)
  • Expert scripting experience in VMWare, Windows or Linux - (Powershell, Python, Javascript)
  • Deep Experience with HP ProLiant & Dell hardware platform with associated firmware and mgmt. interfaces
  • Strong understanding and experience with security and authentication of VMWare and hardware interfaces
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 2012/2016 Server in an enterprise environment
  • Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting ability

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in defining and executing technical strategy
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment where time to delivery is of paramount importance
  • Experience in communication with and working on global teams within large organization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to define, document and implement procedures
  • Experience in performance analysis and troubleshooting
  • Able to quickly identify network or infrastructure related problems and manage the remediation/escalation
  • Strong understanding & ability to work to an ITIL framework
