Job Title: Contract SDET/Quality Automation EngineerLocation: Dallas/Richardson/PlanoLength of Contract: Remainder of 2021, possibly longerOur client, a well-known creator of software for the global residential and commercial real estate market, is looking for 2 SDET/Quality Automation consultants to join their Quality Engineering team testing a number of APIs before they are pushed out to the field. These projects are scheduled to go through the remainder of 2021 and could go longer.Candidates should be local to Dallas/Richardson/Plano area and be willing to go into the office 1-2 day/week for meetings with the team. Otherwise, stay in your bunny slippers!You will be working with a team of software development engineers and other Quality Engineers professionals on financial APIs focused on credit card payments, ACH, etc., so experience in the financial industry would be extremely helpful. You should have experience working as a SDET/Test Automation Engineer in design and development of Applications, Tools or Test Automation Frameworks using high-level structured programming language. You should have experience implementing QA testing frameworks as well as contributing to the improvement of frameworks by designing automated solutions using current tools and techniques. You will be creating automation framework requirements and helping build test frameworks for end-to-end execution, making recommendations for best practices, and partnering with development engineers in design review, code review and solution definition discussions.Candidates should be familiar with the following:Java, C SharpSelenium, Webdriver, Parasoft SOATestRESTassureMultiple platforms - iOS, Mac, AndroidWeb Services testing for REST & SOAPAutomated test drivers such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, etc.Message queue services like JMSDevelopment patterns like TDD and BDDBuild automation tools like Maven & AntBuild management tools like Jenkins, TFS, etc.Performance tools like JMeterProfiling tools like DynatraceStrong SQK query toolsBug tracking & version control systems such as Jira, Perforce, SN, Bugzilla, GIT, GitFlowCode review tools like codecollaboratorBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
