Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an AP Clerk to join our team. This role is fully remote, based in Richardson, Texas, and is centered around the Accounts Payable function. The AP Clerk will be an instrumental part of our team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining standards of operation, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.Responsibilities: Fulfill assigned tasks throughout the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, adhering to standard operating procedures. Handle a high volume of transactional work, including invoice processing, with the utmost accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with the team to ensure invoices are processed promptly. Accurately code and record invoices into the accounting system, following written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Use a variety of Accounts Payable concepts, practices and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the function. Utilize your experience working with Microsoft Office and data entry skills to maintain accurate records and process customer credit applications. Leverage your knowledge and experience with SAP, Oracle and/or JDE to streamline operations. Use your strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with vendors and employees. Drive continuous improvement within the Accounts Payable function. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and contractual requirements. Utilize your financial management skills to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements Proficiency in Data Entry Understanding of Procedures and Standard Operation Procedures Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Invoice and Invoice Processing Knowledge of the software 'About Time' Ability to liaise with Vendors Awareness of Regulation and Contractual aspects Adherence to Practices and Financial Management Experience with Financial Notes Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office Suites Experience with Authorizations Strong Interpersonal Skills and Written Communication Familiarity with R Code Understanding of End-To-End Transaction Processing Experience with ST Microcontoller Demonstrated ability to Drive Continuous Improvement Willingness to work Overtime when necessary Familiarity with Maps API Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
