Honeywell is actively recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join the team in Houston, Texas.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Field Service Support for Honeywell HPS applications and products at customer locations. You will be the primary face of Honeywell for the customer in this role responsible for the daily implementation, administration and troubleshooting of the Honeywell HPS products installed at the customer location. You will be required to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customer representative as well as provide first response technical support. You will work with the Field Services Manager and LSS business functions to maintain and grow the business by identifying customer needs and provided solutions based on the HPS suite of products and services.Key Responsibilities DCS Infrastructure Maintenance includingo Hardware Components of common Server and PC Class Machineso Software Components of common Operating Systems and Applications such asMicrosoft Operating Systems, Windows Server and Desktop
Linux Operating Systems
Switch firmware / IOS from Cisco
vMWare vSphere 6.x and above
o Field Troubleshooting of network issues on layer 2 and layer 3Cable troubleshooting, copper UTP/STP, fiber MM/SM
Identifying performance issues on Ethernet Network
Troubleshoot issues with HSRP, Spanning Tree, ACLs
o Field Troubleshooting of Domain problems includingDNS troubleshooting
AD troubleshooting
GPO troubleshooting
Users/Groups Permission Troubleshooting
o VirtualizationTroubleshooting client VMs
Troubleshooting Host issues
Able to use vCenter effectively
Troubleshoot vSAN and vMotion
Troubleshoot NSX
o Able to use test equipment such asEthernet Network cable tester
RJ45 Crimp tools
Understand fiber cable test reports
You Must HaveAssociate’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math OR 4 years of professional experience in supporting Honeywell Distributed Control Systems, including EPKS and TDC3000 systems.Valid driver's licenseWillingness and ability to travel 75% of timeWe ValueObtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification within 18 months of hireStrong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical.Microsoft Windows Certification such as MCSA, MCSE, MCSDNetworking Certification such as N+, CCNAVirtualization Certification such as VCP6.x or aboveKnowledge of firewalls and intrusion prevention and detectionKnowledge of Security Standards such as ISA99 issued, specifically ISA/IEC 62443Experience & Training in Honeywell Applications will be an asset such as,TPS / PMIO.

Advanced Applications (PHD etc.).
Safety Systems (FSC/SM).
HMI.
SCADA (PLCSs, Ladder Logic etc.).
