Intelligence Analyst

This position is responsible for providing social media monitoring, information collection, analyzing, and dissemination in a timely manner to key stakeholders. Intelligence analysts must use the full range of intelligence community sources and products to identify/assess threats to the organization/sector, prepare studies and assessments of threats, potential threats, and threat-related trends using sophisticated collection/research methodologies, and work with customized targeting infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.Responsibilities:

Closely follow current world events

Analyze pertinent news stories for relevant content

Synthesize news articles and prepare for online publication

Support country-event database and process development

Gain a working knowledge of country, regional, and global issues

Provide contextual analysis for future reports

Assist in updating country intelligence reports on a continual basis

Support internal medical and security operations teams by providing information and alerts about potential events or issues that could impact clients

Conduct research and analysis in support of client requests

Assist with various other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

At least 3 years relevant experience in corporate, government, law enforcement or military intelligence analysis

Prepares studies and assessments of threats, potential threats, and threat-related trends using sophisticated collection/research methodologies and works with customized targeting infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities. Review past incidents to develop indicators, warnings, and mitigation strategies.

Database research, and mastery of Boolean querying are essential to success

Successful candidates will have experience with GIS/mapping and geofencing

Ability to conduct complex investigations while exercising solid OPSEC and tradecraft

Experience in Link Analysis is desirable

Highly energetic and motivated to succeed

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Experience in assessing security of special events is desirable

Able to excel under pressure, and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines

Exceptional written English skills, including writing and editing; foreign language skills are desirable

Able to produce a variety of written briefings and reports, as well as oral briefings when needed

Attention to detail and follow-through

Efficient time management and organizational skills

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international relations, criminal justice, social science, or political science

Must be eligible for a Secret Clearance or presently hold an FBI InfraGard clearance.

Must be able to successfully satisfy a post-offer/pre-employment, thorough personal background check and alcohol and drug screen.

Fusion Center or previous Global Operations Center experience is a plus.
