Our factory produces low-volume, high-complexity nanoProbing products for companies involved in the semiconductor industry. A primary focus of the Logistics Specialist is to create purchase orders and provide purchasing and procurement support for the entire site to meet the needs of the Manufacturing, Operations, Applications, and Engineering Teams. The position closely interfaces with the various functions to strategically source parts and materials for timely delivery to build products for shipment to customers as well as internally for R&D. The position is our direct point of contact with vendors and follows up on order tracking and vendor returns. The Logistics Specialist will also directly interface with Accounts Payable when necessary to ensure that all accounts are kept current.What will you do?

Create purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up on open items to meet On-time Supplier Delivery metrics.

Source products, services, and materials for competitive price and lead times.

Establish relationships and effectively communicate with suppliers to gain needed information and/or expedite the shipments.

Coordinate requisition processing and effectively communicate status updates with customers.

Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing and/or short-shipped products.

Assist the Supply Chain Supervisor and Material Handler with maintaining proper inventory levels of high-volume materials.

How will you get here?Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

2+ years of general logistics experience with an emphasis in Procurement preferred.

Experience using Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Outstanding analytical and time management skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Able to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)

Able to communicate in English
