Technical Analyst#TC20

Location: RICHARDSON, TX

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Bank technical and end-user community with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of applications within established standards and guidelines
  • Function as a collaborative team member in a highly effective Enterprise Application Support organization supporting 40+ banking applications/processes
  • Monitor batch jobs, application logs and monitoring tools to proactively prevent application failures
  • Create documentation to be included in knowledge base of issues and resolutions
  • Work with external vendors and internal IT departments as appropriate to research and resolve problems
  • Work with internal business teams to establish application requirements and implementation expectations
  • Participate in critical major incident resolution and treat such events a top priority
  • Perform software upgrades and other Technology Lifecycle Management activities

Qualifications:
  • Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, SQL Queries, SAML / SSO, SSL Certificates, Citrix, SCCM strongly preferred.
  • Experience with File Transfer Protocols (FTP, FTPS, SFTP) required.
  • Experience with Fiserv Nautilus (or Hyland OnBase), Ipswitch MOVEit is a huge plus.
  • Experience with troubleshooting route and connectivity issue preferred
  • Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving critical business application issues
  • Must have excellent customer service, telephone, listening and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, pattern recognition and, critical thinking skills necessary
  • Aptitude to automate manual processes and validations with scripting languages
  • Must be able to process multiple sources of input and troubleshoot at all layers of the OSI model to determine root cause
  • Must be able to minimize downtime by rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems
  • Be able to track and document information regarding troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, participate in 24 hour on-call rotation
  • Experience in banking industry is a plus
