Our Client, a Fortune 500 telecom provider has two openings for Industrial Engineer II's.Reason for new request: Expansion /increase in work load.Looking for candidates who have experience with: Autocad, Electronics manufacturing, and creating efficiencies in Warehouse environments.This role will involve evaluating, designing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems that efficiently make products or provide services. Would be redesigning or enhancing work areas and layouts defining optimal space utilization and materials flowThis role is 100% onsite in Richardson, TX.Work hours: M-F 8 to 5 flexible if the per needs to more 9-6 with potential OTThis position will last 6 months with the possibility for hire based on the business need and performance. Pay range is $45-50/hr on W2 while on contract. If converted, FT Annual is $105K salary.Job Description:

  • The Industrial Engineer would be responsible for evaluating, designing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems that efficiently make products or provide services.
  • The IE designs, redesigns or enhances work areas and layouts defining optimal space utilization and materials flow.
  • Implement motion and time studies, apply data analysis for problem solving and process streamlining.
  • Utilize Lean Six sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce variation in order to improve efficiencies, reduce cycle time, lead time and cost.
  • Use drafting tools and techniques aided by computer-assisted design software to create the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
  • Development of best practices and process documentation.
  • Be able to lead, coach and facilitate high impact & high complexity projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering Lean Six Sigma knowledge
  • Demonstrated skill in solving complex technical problems
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, solid engineering skills for process mapping, problem solving, and analytical thinker.
  • Strong Project management
  • 7 years of experience in electronics Manufacturing and warehouse
  • Onsite support
  • Layout design software application (AutoCAD or similar)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
