An EMS Quality Technician job is available with Kelly Engineering Services in Houston, TX 77543 now. You’re responsible for providing quality inspection and process audit support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. Your responsible to conducting quality control activities within EMS organization. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a state-of-the-art oilfield services company.Responsibilities include:
Primarily to conducting inspection and test activities within the function they are attaned to, report the result of these activities including any nonconformance found.
Evaluates products for defects and recognize unacceptable product.
Inspects materials, record documents and final products during the production process or off line (reinspection, records).
Performs and records release functional and dimensional testing. Restarts automated equipment that stopped for quality issues.
Evaluates products for defects and recognize unacceptable product. Makes decision regarding product conformity and determines if MQ batch record criteria is met.
Performs testing on commodities and final product and determines acceptance according to specifications
Job Requirements:
Experience with inspection scanning preferred, but not required. evaluate completed work for compliance with applicable codes, standards and job requirements.
Experience with ASME B31.3 and ASME Sec 8 div 2 and NBI.
Excellent analytical and communication skills required.
Ability to work and solve problems in team environment.
Requires one to two years’ experience Oilfield Service Industry or similar production or quality experience.
Must have a working knowledge of mathematical calculations, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Capable of working with fractions, decimals, and percentages. Must be able to input data into a computer, as required
