We lead all aspects of IT project, program and portfolio activity and collaborate across all areas of the company to get results for our customers that exceed their expectations. Focused on completing projects and programs on time, within scope and budget, we define the project value proposition, manage resources, guide project team members and keep leaders updated on the project status and risk factors.In this Infrastructure Facilities PM role, the PM drives the development and execution of Infrastructure Facilities project plans by working with global project teams to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives. Ensures consistency and adherence to Dell standards, processes, and policies for all projects. Manages all aspects of the project execution including: scope definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture/design, project planning, change control, financial management, risk management, project reporting. Facilitates and manages global resource planning, cost estimation, budget development, and cost control. Manages the identification, resolution and escalation of project risks and issues. Plans and executes project communications ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information, documentation, and issue resolution to all appropriate team members. Assists with implementing process improvements as well recording and leveraging Lesson Learn data gather from executed projects. Manages technical discussions with engineering resources with a working knowledge of platform technologies.Key Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

Plan, drive and lead the development, execution and successful completion of multiple, concurrent global, strategic IPE Infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

Manage budget for all projects, tracking all expenditures with specific oversight on Capex and Opex spend.

Maintain required project artifacts as well as PMO online tools to reflect project status, progress and other project details as required.

Anticipate problems and potential future state risks and proactively seek avoidance or alternative solutions to resolve risks. Manage risk and issues, address promptly and drive for resolution.

Proactively engage and partner with business and IT leaders to continually drive for greater quality, efficiency and effectiveness in project execution and delivery of higher-valued business outcomes.

Develop and sustain clear and concise communications to all project stakeholders on project status, changes and budgets. Ensure critical information is communicated in a timely fashion at the appropriate level.

Manage the change control process and oversee the approval and being responsible for the implementation of all changes.

Essential Requirements

5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree

2+ years' experience as a Global IT Program/Project Management professional directing concurrent projects spanning from $1M to $20M

Knowledge / experience in managing large complex technological solutions including new or innovative technologies

Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, organizing work and meeting deadlines

Strong leadership, business judgment and decision-making skills

Logical thinker and innovator with ability to work through ambiguity and overcome challenges quickly and tactfully

Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing (English), including excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of project team members and leadership to drive outcomes, and to build team rapport and a goal driven environment

Desirable Requirements

Infrastructure technology knowledge and infrastructure deployment experience

Experience working with IT HW/Datacenter technology
