RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce Inc. is seeking a full-time Mongo DBA to remotely support our enterprise technology client based in Round Rock, TX.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibility of this role is to provide Production and Project rollout, provisioning support for MongoDB 3.6 and above and Oracle 12c and above databases Candidate should have working knowledge of MongoDB and Oracle technology Knowledge and work experience on other NoSQL Technologies like Cassandra, Elastic Search is preferred Candidate should be capable to handling production issues and Provisioning, Project deployments independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLA's Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide solutions Identify automation opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardise processes Maintain High Availability & Replication proceduresREQUIREMENTS: 8-10 years of experience in Configure, manage and troubleshoot MongoDB Sharded cluster and Oracle databases Good troubleshooting skills on performance issues, replication issues, or operational issues like alerts alert log, jobs, disk group, etc. Good understanding of DB schema design, performance tuning and capacity planning Experienced in upgrades of MongoDB, database migrations and patching Knowledge in Optimising query performance Experience in Implementing and maintaining MongoDB OPS Manager/Cloud Manager Good understanding of MongoDB and Oracle architecture Able to troubleshoot and support Oracle breakfix issues Experience with backup and recovery for Oracle and Mongo Contribute to MongoDB and oracle development projects Knowledge and experience in Performance troubleshooting for both Oracle and MongoKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
