OEM Solutions Systems Engineer

What you'll achieve

As a Systems Engineer, you will interface with OEM sales teams and customers, helping to provide them with deep, technical knowledge required for them to develop their own products using the Dell Technologies portfolio, as well as help analyze and resolve customer and support issues.

You will:
  • Interface with OEM sales teams and customers to help the design of new products.
  • Consult on unique customers issues, helping to understand, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve when possible.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including program management, marketing, vendors/suppliers, etc. to assist customers in their product development lifecycles.
  • Generate documentation and provide training on multiple Dell products.

Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge of modern computer architecture and its practicable applications.
  • 8+ years relevant engineering experience.
  • BS in electrical/computer engineering or computer science.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Prior experience in computer product development, including aspects such as schematics and layout.

Desirable Requirements
  • Expertise and/or familiarity with one or more product families in the Dell Technologies portfolio.
  • Ability to instrument and analyze complex issues using tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
