Our Service Procurement team within WW Service Parts and Planning makes that happen. We manage strategic and operational commodity teams while developing supplier strategies and long-range plans to ensure service supply chain supportability. Our focus is on setting performance goals, implementing procurement initiatives and achieving process improvements to optimize our global service supply chain.Key Responsibilities
Lead US-based WW Service procurement team responsible for Enterprise ODM(Server, Storage, Networking) and US based commodity (CPU, HDD, OS) suppliers for Service Parts.
Responsible for Supplier management, service contracts, service part pricing, service COS, and supplier escalation support.
Responsible for creating, implementing and managing supplychain strategies to ensure Service part COS for entire service life (up to 7years+ of support) of our products.
Key interface with WWP, responsible for aligning with supplier management activities driven by GO.
Essential Requirements
Advanced understanding of procurement practices and methods
Significant focus on business process improvement
Advanced knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques
Advanced understanding and ability to develop outstanding supplier relationships (SRM)
Advanced knowledge of sourcing and service supplychain networks; network of contacts to call on at manager/executive level
Desirable Requirements
Typically, 15+ years of procurement/supplychain experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)
