Job Purpose:
Provides animations by formulating concepts; preparing sketches and drawings.
Duties:
Develops animation concept by studying text, layouts, sketches of proposed animations, specifications, and related materials.
Prepares initial model by constructing successive animations, including actions, changes, color patterns, and background to portray desired effect; obtaining confirmation of model.
Produces desired effects by determining best-suited style and technique.
Keeps designer informed by discussing animations at various stages of completion; making changes; re-defining concepts and techniques.
Completes assignments by utilizing available resources; adhering to production schedule.
Improves quality results by studying and evaluating processes; recommending changes.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
