Sr Technical Writer
Position Description CGI Federal is seeking highly-qualified, motivated professionals to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Military Health System (MHS) Enterprise Information Technology Service Integrator (EITSI) program. This critical technical program will simultaneously transform the DHA's existing IT infrastructure, enterprise services, governance, and organizational change management through Multisourcing Services Integration (MSI), while also providing large-scale Global Service Center (GSC) help desk support.Your future duties and responsibilities The Sr Technical Writer works within the Deliverables Management functional area of the Contract Management Office (CMO), and supports the management and coordination of deliverable production, quality assurance, document review, delivery, and tracking. This role requires expertise in technical editing, document library oversight and management. Writes technical materials, such as equipment manuals, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. May assist in layout work. Checks documents for spelling, grammar, organization, consistency, and content. Leverages and implements where possible the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Information Processing (FIP), Government Printing Office (GPO), or commercial documentation standards as appropriate to the assignment. Ensures that documents follow the appropriate style guide and editing workflow process.Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Must possess six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency desired.• Must possess IAT III, IAM III and relevant Computing Environment (CE) Professional commercial certificates in accordance with DoD 8570.01• A Federal Investigative Standard (FIS) Tier 3 background investigation is required for this position.This position is contingent upon contract award. #CGIFederalJobBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
