Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Preparation of both federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses
Tax research and planning
Bookkeeping associated with some client accounts
Exposure to Accounting and Auditing
Interaction with clients, staff, and owners
Help make us a better firm and contribute to a positive work environment
Preferred requirements are:
Experience in a public accounting firm would be great, but not required.
Experience should be current.
Beneficial characteristics would include (but not required):
Experience with general ledger software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Accounting CS
Experience with CCH products, including ProSystem Pfx Tax, Fixed Assets, and Engagement
We will require passing background check and drug test; and complying with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
