Kubernetes Engineer, Senior The Challenge :Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in DoD cyber operations? You'll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cloud-based development and continuous deployment in hybrid environments while developing software that will improve national security and protect our warfighters. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:- 3+ years of experience with engineering, administering, designing, developing, integrating, and testing production IT infrastructure platforms using Kubernetes
- 2+ years of experience with Istio and Helm
- 2+ years of experience with using and managing continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions
- 1+ years of experience with deploying Kubernetes beyond the managed service offerings from Google Compute Engine, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with delivery and DevSecOps for designing, developing, and delivering using automation techniques or tools, including Ansible, Python, or Git
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, VMWare, or OpenStack
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience in working with and influencing software development teams
- BA or BS degree
- Security+ Certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
