Job Description - Onsite Client Support Engineer (Part Time)

This is a unique opportunity where a Managed Service Provider needs a local Technician to service clients in the San Antonio area 1 day/week.

The person in this role will be expected to go ON SITE to the client on a weekly basis. There will also be a few smaller clients that will need some face time once in a while as well.

This position will be roughly 8-12 hrs/week so if you have other side projects being worked simultaneously as well, this could be perfect.

You will be responsible for supporting client technical issues on a daily basis. You will have a team to support the issues that arise as well. There are Tier 1 techs to support the more basic level issues, as well as Tier 3 escalation for the complex issues.

YOU are going to be the main point person when dealing with clients. The ability to interact with all levels of employees is going to be the main responsibility of this job, almost more important than technical abilities. You will still be handling tickets yourself so will still stay be able to stay close to technology.
  • Great with customers
  • Great and soling windows desktop issues
  • Potential to be a team lead on a service team
  • Experience troubleshooting and doing basic server remediation for end user
  • Experience administering O365
  • Looking for candidates who have worked with Azure in the past and can understand the security functionality that comes with it.
  • As well as the security functions with Active Directory
