RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Business Analyst in San Antonio, TX.
Duties: Communicates and provides updates and recommendations to applicable business users; Works closely with client groups to effectively align and utilize full system capability to meet business objectives May lead cross functional teams in the application of business analysis methodology and tools to define and scope continuous improvement projects to achieve strategic objectives of the business The resource will be working on various IT application requests, including contagion tracking and Integrations Work will be on-site with the option to be remote after start up Lead cross functional teams deliver short term projects Work and maintain agile boards Create reports and status updates Translating business needs into technical specifications Collaborates and consults with internal client groups to understand business and user needs and document requirements Meets with internal clients to gather and document effective business requirements; maps and analyzes end-to-end business processes as part of overall documentation Works with appropriate technical resources to translate business requirements into system requirement specifications consistent with the needs of the business Makes recommendations on new solutions or enhancements based on an assessment of business requirements aligned with overall business and technology strategy Develops test plans and executes testing and quality assurance activities and documents results for supported systems Identifies, researches, and resolves issues proactively Communicates and provides updates and recommendations to applicable business users; Works closely with client groups to effectively align and utilize full system capability to meet business objectives May lead cross functional teams in the application of business analysis methodologyREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or other relevant fields. Minimum 5 years of business analysis or relevant experience required This role is BA III with some project leadership experience but not a PMP type resource Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Exceptional math, spreadsheet, and data analytics skills with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent presentation development and presentation skills Expert with MS Suite tools, PowerPoint, and Excel Highly responsive to customers and team members and the ability to work with minimal guidance or independentlyKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
