They will be trained communications professional, working in a fast pasted environment, handling media inquiries, developing talking points with the media and planning/coordinating video and photo shoot events. This is a hybrid role, where you will work from home and in manufacturing plant, juggle multiple projects and even planning. They will report to Corporate Communications Manager.Responsibilities include: Coordinating/planning events for photo shoots, leading the planning of conceptual design and production. Coordinating and planning video shoots through production. Lead initiatives to include: media relations, social media, community relations, executive speech writing, and brand/reputation management Writing communications plans for release of information Writing speeches, talking points, and press releases, as well as developing presentations Developing collateral materials for public relations purposes Preparing executive leadership & team members for potential media interviews, speaking opportunities Lead video and photo shoots as needed; maintain database of photos and videos Liaison with the experience center for promotion of customer experience Helping strategize and monitor local community issues and how to be involved Support key department events including VIP plant toursREQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Recent college graduate, Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or obtained their AA Degree with some professional experience. Possess a background in communications, media worked for an advertising agency. Experience with creative writing/story telling, creating corporate branding, press releases and speeches for executives. Experience interfacing with Social Media or website design is desired Experience writing communication plans for release information, speeches, press releases, collateral and brand/reputation management Background in developing overall Public Relations (PR) strategies involving news media, government officials OR opinion leaders Must Have Proven Corporate communications experience with a focus on public relations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in project management; developing and promoting creative messaging Occasionally to drive your own vehicle occasionally in the San Antonio to help with sponsored events Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, DESIRED, Nice to haves: An understanding of local community Past leadership positions with community organizations Proficiency in publishing softwareCalance Consultant Benefits Offerings:- EPO/PPO Medical Plan (Cigna)- HMO/PPO Dental programs (Cigna) - Vision - VSP (Vision Plan Summary) - 401K VOYA Retirement vesting programVacancy expired!
